Despite Hilly’s unorthodox passion for obsolete flaky Italian ’exotica’ he is perhaps surprisingly very well adjusted. His vivid imagination is no doubt fuelled by sniffing too much brake cleaner but it does reap rewards in the shape of his quirky sense of humour shown in his S&M cartoon strips. Hilly is ultimately responsible for the massive decaying Welwyn Garden City Gilera spares mountain that he’s applying to be ’Listed’ as the town’s oldest landmark.
